The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has taken the lead in this endeavor, ensuring that the spirit of Eid Al-Adha transcends borders and reaches those in need.
Upholding Compassion in Yemen
In the picturesque landscapes of Yemen, KSrelief spearheaded the Adahi Project for Eid Al-Adha 2023, aiming to provide sacrificial meat to the displaced, needy, and individuals with special needs. The center’s dedication shone bright as they distributed a total of 291 carcasses in the Hadramout governorate and an additional 200 in the Marib governorate. These efforts serve as a testament to the enduring commitment of Saudi Arabia towards supporting the Yemeni people during their challenging times.
Uniting for a Worthy Cause in Somalia
Collaborating with the esteemed Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), KSrelief embarked on a transformative journey in Somalia. The inauguration of the Adahi project showcased the unity and collective effort of both organizations. Over the course of Eid Al-Adha, a remarkable 3,000 animals were distributed, benefitting a staggering 72,000 individuals in Somali regions who are affected by displacement, drought, and poverty. The impact of this initiative resonated deeply within the communities, emphasizing the power of compassion in overcoming adversity.
Alleviating Hardships in Sudan
In Sudan, where hardships prevail, KSrelief extended its support by distributing more than 1,500 food packages. These packages reached out to 7,325 individuals, providing them with sustenance and hope during the festive season. Such endeavors demonstrate the unwavering dedication of Saudi Arabia to uplift and empower communities in need.
