Protest Rally in Islamabad Against India’s G-20 Summit in IIOJK

A protest rally denouncing the Indian government’s decision to hold the G-20 Summit in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) took place in Islamabad on Monday. Led by Chairperson of the Peace and Culture organization and Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the wife of incarcerated Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik, the rally garnered significant participation from individuals carrying placards and banners adorned with anti-India slogans. Commencing from Zero Point and culminating at the National Press Club, the protestors expressed their concerns over the violation of international regulations by the Modi regime. In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan correspondent Bilal Mehsud, Mushaal Mullick urged Pakistanis and Kashmiris worldwide to join forces in raising their voices against the illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and the persistent human rights abuses in the region.

Challenging the Venue Choice

The protesters voiced their strong opposition to the selection of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir as the venue for the G-20 Summit. By organizing the summit in this internationally recognized disputed area, the Indian government blatantly disregards international rules and regulations, further exacerbating tensions in the region.

Amid the protest rally, the demonstrators prominently displayed their discontent through an array of placards and banners bearing powerful anti-India slogans.
